The Palmettos Assisted Living Community
Mauldin, SC
Sherman Construction provided NHC with construction services for a one story, 45 Unit/60 Bed Assisted Living and Memory Care Addition to their existing Mauldin, SC facility.
The new community will be marketed as The Palmettos.
The new facility will provide residents a choice of 4 different floor plans including a Companion Suite, Studio, Deluxe Studio or 1 Bedroom. Community amenities including such conveniences as a putting green, screened porches, multiple courtyards, In-Room kitchenettes, wireless internet, a spa and a beauty salon. Construction details include the use of multiple exterior veneers to provide a more "home-like" feel for residents. The new community will also provide a 20 Unit/24 Bed Secured Memory Care Community on the same property with it's on courtyards and community dining room. The new addition was completely sprinklered.
